Who I Am

I’m a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist based in East London, member of the Association of Child Psychotherapist working in private practice.

My Education and Training

I began my career in Italy, where I was trained as a Clinical Psychologist. I was awarded a scholarship from the Italian government, allowing me to further my education at the Anna Freud Centre in London. This institution provided me with advanced training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, an area I am deeply passionate about.

My Professional Experience

My extensive experience of over 30 years in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) includes assessing and providing therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and their families. For the last 15 years, I’ve served as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead, offering my expertise in emotional wellbeing and mental health. Special Interest

Earlier in my career, I spent eight years working closely with the Family Unit of The Cassel Hospital, which involved assisting parents diagnosed with severe personality disorders and their children, including many infants. This unique experience fuelled my interest in early parent-child bonding, which led to my pivotal role in developing a dedicated mental health service for Looked After Children within a CAMHS setting.

With this vision in mind, I offer a wide array of services, ranging from Parent-infant Psychotherapy to individual Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Consultations to Parents, Consultations to Professionals, and Supervision.

My Commitment

I am deeply dedicated to my work and feel privileged to walk alongside families on their journey. I am committed to providing therapeutic interventions that help children and adolescents make sense of their feelings. My aim is to offer an empathetic space of understanding, guidance, and growth for anyone in need.
